Majed Bin Ayed Alnefaie
BOARD MEMBER AND CEO
Majed Alnefaie is the CEO at Seera Group and has been a board member of the Group since 2015. With over 20 years of experience in the travel, hospitality and leisure industry, Majed has been tasked with the role of spearheading Seera’s Journey of growth through his appointment in April 2021, due to his vast expertise and his commitment to the development of the tourism infrastructure and his passion for Seera. He is a member of the board at the Retaj Company, the Al-Hanove Travel Company and the Al-Mawasim Tours Company. He is also the CEO of the Al-Mawasim Hajj and Umrah Services Company. He has served as Hotel Manager at the Hilton Towers from 1999 to 2004. In addition to being a board member, he also manages a number of companies that specialize in the field of tourism and hotel services.
Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Dawood
BOARD MEMBER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
Since joining Seera Group in 2015, Abdullah Bin Nasser Aldawood designed and implemented Seera’s transformation programme as the CEO of the group. As the Managing Director at Seera, a role he took on in April 2021, he is further driving the strategy for the continuous transformation journey Seera has embarked on.
Abdullah also acts as the Managing Director at Qiddiyah, the Kingdom’s capital of entertainment Giga project. Qiddiyah is set to offer entertainment, sports, and arts in Saudi Arabia aligning with the spirit of Saudi’s 2030 vision.
Abdullah is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Entertainment Ventures, an owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alraedah Finance Company. Abdullah has over 11 years of experience in investment banking, where he held several executive positions, including Vice President of Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank in the Middle East and North Africa.
Abdullah holds a master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Georgetown University in the United States as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration with honours from the same university. He holds a first class honours bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from King Saud University.

Leading on all financial strategies and operations, Muhammad Khalid has been with Seera for over 13 years and brings extensive financial expertise to the table that will further serve us on our journey to success.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT – TRAVEL
Muzzammil Ahussain is the Executive Vice President of Seera Group’s Consumer Travel Business Unit, spearheading the growth and development of Saudi Arabia’s digital-based omni-channel travel brand Almosafer.
An internationally-recognised management consultant and operations executive, he leverages his vast experience in scaling and optimising operations to enable sustainable growth and cater to the MENA region’s evolving travel needs through seamless, technology-driven omni-channel experiences. As a former Senior Manager at Accenture Strategy, Muzzammil has led projects for a range of international clients. He holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
Syed Mohammed Azfar Shakeel
VICE PRESIDENT – CAR RENTAL
Syed Mohammed Azfar Shakeel has almost 20 years of experience working for blue chip multinational companies across many countries. He has been Head of Finance and Operations for large organisations during booms as well as times of recession, and is a strategic thinker who focuses on the big picture. Before joining the management team at Seera, Azfar worked for companies such as Hanco Rent A Car, Al Tala’a Int’l Transportation Co. Ltd., Coca Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited, Procter & Gamble Private Limited and Gillette Pakistan Limited.
Al Waleed Abdulaziz Al-Nasser
VICE PRESIDENT – LEGAL
With more than 10 years’ experience in compliance and legal administration, Al Waleed currently serves as the Vice president – Legal Affairs of Seera Group and he is also the Secretary of the Board of Directors. His legal background brings significant value to the company – he previously served as the Executive Director of legal for AMNCO and he is also a Certified Compliance professional (CCP) from the American Academy of Financial Management. Al Waleed holds a master’s degree in Law from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in Law from King Saud University.
Moataz Mohammed Safwat
SENIOR DIRECTOR – INTERNAL AUDIT
Moataz Mohamed Safwat became the Group’s Executive Director of Internal Auditing in 2013. He has over 12 years of auditing and consulting experience, and has formerly served in KPMG in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. He is currently the Senior Director – Internal Audit for the Seera Group.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT – PORTMAN TRAVEL GROUP
Redmond Walsh joined Seera in 2014. He is responsible for the Group’s companies in Europe and the United Kingdom including Portman Travel Group and its subsidiaries: Clarity and Elegant Resorts. He has held numerous senior positions in the travel industry for over 20 years, serving as Managing Director for a number of companies, most notably Abercrombie and Kent in the UK and Africa, and TUI Travel in the UK. He also served as Executive Director for Stella Travel Services, and has previously worked in corporate finance and private equity firms.
VICE PRESIDENT – DATA
Originally from London, based in Dubai – Louise has enjoyed a colourful career in data over the past 15 years, across government, agency, big corporates and start ups – her mission has always been the same, the use of data to enlighten and enable. In her current role as VP Data, Louise provides all Seera Business Units with data insights and analytics for effective decision making in terms of product, marketing and revenue management.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT – CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE
As Executive Vice President – Centre of Excellence at Seera, Tarique heads the overall sourcing and fulfilment operations for the group’s travel portfolio. Aside from establishing and scaling tajawal (now Almosafer) in the UAE as a co-founder of the travel platform, he has been closely involved in shaping the group’s overall consumer travel business and its dedicated Hajj & Umrah business. With over 19 years of experience in the travel industry, he builds on his expertise in leading customer experience, business development and new market initiatives to drive commercial success. Tarique has held pivotal roles in multinational travel corporations such as Cleartrip and Kuoni. As part of the founding team of Cleartrip, he led the platform’s expansion into the Middle East and the establishment of various supplier and distributor functions.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT – CHO
Shuja Zaidi is a senior hospitality leader that has worked in various parts of the world including the United States, China, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. He is the founder of Equinox Hospitality Middle East which is now a fully owned subsidiary of Seera Group and in his current role as CHO, he heads the Hospitality Unit of Seera Group. A seasoned hotelier, Shuja has managed and steered large hospitality and mixed-use developments from initial concept to operations for renowned brands such as Hilton. Shuja earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and his MBA from the University of Guam, USA. Shuja is also a certified Hospitality and Real Estate Asset manager from Cornell University.
