Element List Explanation
The reason of the increase (decrease) in the sales/ revenues during the current quarter compared to the same quarter of the last year is Revenues increased by 2% year-on-year to SAR 1,104 million, led by an 11% growth in the Hospitality segment, followed by 8% growth in the Portman business and a 7% increase from the Lumi car rental segment. The Almosafer travel platform segment recorded a modest 1% revenue increase.
The reason of the increase (decrease) in the net profit during the current quarter compared to the same quarter of the last year is Net Profit before NCI decreased by 13% year-on-year to SAR 53 million in 1Q 2025. This included a one-off income from Almosafer’s Hajj & Umrah business and impairments related to Portman acquisitions. 

 

Adjusted net profit before NCI, excluding one-off items, declined by 8% year-on-year to SAR 56 million. The weak performance of Portman mainly drove the decline in adjusted earnings. Profitability is expected to improve going forward, supported by operational synergies in Portman.

The reason of the increase (decrease) in the sales/ revenues during the current quarter compared to the previous one is Revenues increased by 10% to SAR 1,104 million, led by a 26% growth in the Hospitality segment, followed by 17% growth in the Portman business and a 2% increase from the Lumi car rental segment. The travel segment revenue remained stable.
The reason of the increase (decrease) in the net profit (loss) during the current quarter compared to the previous one is Net Profit before NCI increased by 117% to SAR 53 million in 1Q 2025 as compared to a loss of SAR 312 million . This included a one-off income from Almosafer’s Hajj & Umrah business and impairments related to Portman acquisitions.Adjusted net profit before NCI, excluding one-off items, improved by 60% to SAR 56 million, as compared to SAR 35 million of last quarter. The growth was mainly driven by strong performance from the hospitality segment, together with improved results from Lumi and Almosafer.
